How do I remove Windows Messenger ?

I will never use it and I somehow removed it from my PC before, but since the Service Pack installation, its come back.

Although I have every Option turned off, I keep getting messages on the screen, telling me that its still running in the background, or that someone has added me to their contact list and do I want to receive messages from them, etc.,

Any help, as always, will be appreciated.

Im think I originally got this tip here, but this is how to do it...

Go to Start, Run, and copy and paste this command

code:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%infmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Job Done and Windows messenger is gone.

Note: This is Windows Messenger and not MSN Messenger
