I know I should have checked, but my computer has come back minus Mirosoft Office, and the shop wants £100.00 for a new one!

HELP!!!

In that case, you might want to take a look at OpenOffice. Most of the features of MS Office and will happily work with any documents (letters, spread sheets, etc.) that you created already with MS Office.

 

Cost is £0.00 if you download it and I know quite a few folks who own MS Office and also run OpenOffice because they like parts of it better.

 

Note that you can get it on CD (it's a huge download) but I think most places that offer the CD charge a little for them.
