If your spare video card works without any problems, then it is pretty safe to say that the problem is your video card.

 

If it is only 3 months old then it should be guaranteed, but if it always the same game that gives you problems it may be just a compatabilty issue.

 

Remember that it is very important to have the latest video card drivers installed.

no sellers address i am afraid. the problem happens on all games so i know its not a compatibility issue old and new games.

may be a returned to manufacturer card theres lots about ,is it a well known manufacturer or some tiawanese maker with a crap website that refers you (if at all) to the graphics chip manfactureres site for drivers

g-force fx5200 256mb ddr. brillant card the best i have owned. surely the manufacturer should take it back and replace it.

whos the manufacturer your only quoting the chipset,remember n-vidia dont make graphics cards

then how will you return it to the manufacturer :confused:

a fcc search may find the maker if it isnt written somewhere on the card

not having a go mate i too saved a few pounds buying unknown makers cards ,i learnt my lesson and now buy named ones they may be nore expensive and no better but you can find the website ,my msi fx5200 has had 3 bios upgrades since i bought it ,each time it got more stable you may not get the same aftersales from a vague tiawan card maker

Just put a Gforce 4 128mb in to my machine and believe it or not it worked perfect.

 

So basically graphics card is ****ed but its virtually brand new

 

GFORCE fx5200 256md DDR!! its a brillant card!

 

So i am very sad going to buy a new NFORCE one i think
