ms works?

have a file with a .wks extenstion (ms works??) on clicking it i get a windows unknown extention box ,it can go online via this box to look up the extension but it comes up with "unknown" :confused: :confused:

i have office 2000 fully installed but nothing opens it ,excel says its an unknown file :confused:

any ideas

i installed the works to word converter but cannot see how this works theres no shortcut for it :confused:

 

I also have some old mail in .MSF format (netscape mail) how do i open them from the page or netscape mail?

Zip it and send it to me if you like. I have the latest version Works and should be able to convert it an Office doc. You should have my e-mail address.

 

It might remind me to scan that document I promised you.

 

If it is of a sensitive nature I will keep my eyes closed.

the ms works one has been sorted (thanks anyway Mickj) but the second one still persists
