I would'nt worry too much Kendo. As I understand it, this scam needs you to follow a link from an email and then to download something from that site. As Jeepster says common sense is your best defence.

 

A similar security problem was found in IE in December although it may have been patched by now.

 

 

I'd be more worried by flaws like this "extremely critical" one in IE:

that could expose you to malicious code just by visiting a dodgy website.

 

FWIW from what i've learnt about open source software this year I'd lay money on Firefox sorting this out quickly. I'm not sure I'd have the same confidence in Microsoft...

I have to admit that I hadn't read it all :o and reacted prematurely but having read that so many were starting to use it I thought I ought to point this flaw out.
