Cuckoo driving me nuts

I've got a cuckoo in my PC. Every so often I hear a cuckoo call on my PC. Nothing on screen, just the sound. Nothing odd in my programme file...anyone have any idea how to strangle this little b*****d

the cuckoo maybe a "sound" used by a program doing something peculier like a page opening or something ,monitor what happening when it occurs,mine squarks when mail appears but your pc can be set up for many sounds for many things

I used to have a telephone and a siren but I think your cuckoo beats them. Top Notch m8. LOL .

 

Some form of virus I guess.

could be somthing has altered your windows sounds, try this.

 

assuming you are on windows xp go to the control panel select "Sounds and audio devices" once open select "Sounds" from this you should see "Sound schemes" in the drop down box under it select "Windows default" message will popup asking to save previous scheme select no

I had some tennis sound effects that poped up every now and again.

Very annoying and I never did find out what it was that caused it.
