Prawns are lethal for big perch, that much i know.

That is really interesting for me; I have never tried prawn or heard of prawn being used for perch.

How well does it work? How do you fish it? Float mid water or hard on the bottom?

Has anyone else caught perch on prawn, I might like to give it a go. I know a water were I have been looking for something different for the big perch.

Any experience of using prawns for perch would be gladly received

Ditto, I had an idea of using those king prawns, fished sink and draw style, in a little stream I know where the perch have grown big on crayfish, but didn't get round to it...

Well, I'd never have thought of that if you hadn't told me.....I love the way that AN comes up with such innovative ideas!

 

Personally I'd keep the prawns for myself, served on a salad sandwich with a dash of garlic mayonnaise and a sprinkling of freshly chopped coriander.

I prefer them with thousand island dressing and spooned into a nice ripe avacado.
