Fish finders

You should have a reply, sorry I've been off line for a couple of days, been on a days training with work.

Half days fly fishing, afternoon Clay Pigeon Shooting and Rage Buggying... don't tell the boss :D

We had over 50 rainbows between 20, I was the only one who had fly fished before, and was beaten to the biggest fish by 2 girls and a golfer

Did you say Plaice... don't tell Simon, you'll never get rid of him. :D

As for the Trout fishing :o You should know by now .....never take a women fishing, they will always outfish you.Even if they have never done it b4 in their life :D

When I took my wife the one and only time about 9 years ago.She caught the biggest and the most carp.I put it down to all the help I was giving her, tackling and baiting up.So didnt have much time to fish myself

Speciman,

Had a good look at the Lowrance yesterday at the boat show, looks very well made, only problem being it's not map based, so really not giving you any more than you already have with your existing Garmin. It didn't appear to have a quick release system either so a permanent fixture.

Didn't have a chance to talk to anyone as my lad was getting tired.

There were discounts but the same as last year really, all on the low end range of Garmins and Cobra Radios, neither of which I would really want, I'm not knocking Garmin, just the low end stuff is a little low end really. Think there were some good prices on the Eagle finders as well, mind you the show is over now.

Spent most of my time queing to get onto the Lifeboat and Army Carrier with my lad, who then after a bottle of fizz turned into a Tazmanian Devil, so my day was spent rushing around gathering brochures of fixtures and fittings, electrical bits and other items of interest whilst trying to stop him picking things up, hiding, running around with an umbrella... glad to get home really :)
