Fishing in Belize

Have any Angler's Netsters fished there ?

 

With what results ?

 

Any specific recommendations as to which venue?

 

There are dozens of web sites re tarpon/bonefish/snook/permit fishing, making choice difficult (each and every one claims to be "the best").

 

If anyone has personal experience of the area I would be grateful for details.

:cool: I have fished there and caught huge tarpon

but it was a mile offshore from the capital and I was on a 4,000 ton destroyer so I can't recommend any skippers. What I do recommend is that you wear loads of insect repellant, keep all skin covered, have every jab going, take the malaria tablets and don't sleep with the women, aside from that, enjoy.

Yep, we do all those "health and safety" things whenever appropriate. That last bit of advice is easy enough to follow, I take my own
