Pond Advice.

my local pond has exactly the same stuff. it is duckweed. with this weather it will die soon because it has happened to my local pond for a few years now and its annoying when it starts to build up in july, that sort of time because you cant fish it for the whole summer until it starts to die off in mid to late november to early december

there is a slow flowing river in my area that always seems to carry duckweed on its surface. It also carry alot of leves and twigs with it as well, not idel when i am looking for sensitive bites!

You could use a ledger setup with a pva mesh dynamite stick or pva bag, put the hook inside the pva with the freebies, that way the hook bait isnt covered in weed and you get freebies down around your hook aswell.
