. Hope your Belize jaunt is as productive.Will be interested to see how long my lures last when chewed up by the toothy critters

 

The lures look smashing, I just hope I can do them justice - when not fishing for permit, will give your monsters a swim in blue water. Full report in due course. After Belize, will be visiting "rellies" in Texas (you can tell I've just been to Oz ) , so will also try your lures on the bass of Lake Travis.

Tony U - although there are excellent bonefish venues in Belize, the place we are going to, Placencia, is not one of them. It is supposed to be the best place for permit, which is my primary quarry, and there are plenty of small tarpon too. Bonefish must wait for a different trip.
