Nothing wrong with a Sit In Side (SINK) just don't keep your bait inside the kayak. :D

Seriously you can kit out with rod holders etc just like us with our SOT's just takes a little more thinking about before taking a drill to fibreglass, Ziggy who pops in every now and then has a SINK so your not alone.

It looks a little like a polo canoe to me which tend to be used in swimming pools, so I would take it easy if your looking to go to sea in it.

I'll be using lures and spnners so 'bait' will be ok. :)

I have just moved in to a new place that's about 200 yards from the river/canal and I won't be using it on the salty stuff.

I only want to use to access hard to fish places plus I won't lose so many spinners while trying to get under bushes. :D

Ferret,

If your fishing the canal, maybe worth forgetting the skirt until you have a few paddling skills under your belt, that way if you do take a tumble you can easily get out. Wait for some warmer weather to use the skirt and practice your escape routine with a friend in the water, the first time you roll it can be tricky remembering how to get out.

Enjoy your fishing, don't forget you'll need a licence for the canoe.
