Vidar

A serious question for once if I may, I am intrigued, do you enter into beach casting tournaments? And if so how successful are you? Are you English? :)

No, I'm not a tournament caster, that's just not my thing at all.

I just collect this stuff because it gives me a lot of fun and opposed to stamps most of it is nice and shiny :lol::lol:

And yes, Peter is right I am a Norwegian, but living in London though.

Interesting site. Not one I was familiar with but they do have some nice looking gear. I'm guessing the prices are a little out of my range though. :D

Megabass (maybe together with Evergreen) is widely regarded to make the best lure rods and hard baits money can buy. The quality, detailing, workmanship and the sensitivity of their rods are unbelievable and it's something that has to bee seen in real life to be appreciated. G. Loomis rods suddenly look and feel very boring compared to a Megabass rod :lol::lol:

Yup. Bass rods, reels, lures, and the Japanese are probably making the finest in the world these days and if you can pay for it, you get quality.

Sort of like buying a Purdy shotgun where you have a functional work of art.

The prices in that list are lower than I was expecting to see - although still a little out of reach for this old country boy. My fish are just gonna have to deal with being caught on less expensive gear I think.

i've said it before vidar, and i'll more than likely say it many times again, but if you fancy selling any of your creations, let me know!

i've just started tuning one of my 5501s with some ceramic bearings from caleb, but as i snapped the rod i use with that reel i haven't had time to test them yet!
