Getting Bait In The Luce Bay Area?

Possibly going for a weeks fishing trip end of Jan, anyone know what the bait pumping is like around Luce bay area??? :blink::unsure:

Hi

 

The fishing tends to be slow at this time of the year with most of the summer species gone.

 

Port Patrick seems to fish better in the winter than many of the marks round Drummore.

 

There are plenty of lug beds and ragworm can be dug not to far away from here. It might be worth while buying some sandeel as there will still be a few Pollack to about 4 pounds.
