running xp home and i keep getting firewall warnings of 2 programs that wish to connect to the web even when i'm not on it  both windows programs "explorer.exe" and "spoolsv.exe" i know the later is a printer related jobbie (it opens whenever i even go near the printer  ) but how do i switch them off trying?? ,denying them permission involves 20+ clicks to block them

explorer even brings up the dialup box usually on a search of my pc :angry:

somewhere there must be a box to unclick but where?

When the firewall gives an alert, there's usually a check box that allows you to "remember my answer".

If not, somewhere in your firewall should be a list of programs that have requested net access and you should be able to disallow programs from here.
