River Severn at Bewdley

I'm travelling down for a week's fishing on the 7th September, does anyone know how it's fishing? Heard it's running a bit fast and swollen at the moment.

Up and coloured with plenty more on its way down.

 

You`ve got three weeks though mate, I wouldn`t worry too much. Even if it is still a bit full theres so many fish in the area its hard to go wrong.

If you want to keep an eye on the river, there's a webcam a few miles upstream at Bridgnorth. At normal summer levels, the gravel bank will extend to the right of the white post.

Theres a couple of known 12s in the Bewdley area

 

Unfortunately the Bridgnorth webcam packed up in the recent storms. Hopefully it`ll be back up and running soon.
