If I were in Vegas I would likely place a bet on Carolina tomorrow vs Chicago. But they have to get the early lead and force Da Bears to come from behind. They may not have the offense to do that. I think Carolina's coaching may be the difference in this one, like last week.

Indy and Seattle look pretty good for the Super Bowl. What do you think?

PS - Been in Fla all week. Love these temps! :)

Offense would be great. However, I think the whole thing may hinge on how well our defense manages to pressure the Chicago Quarterback. If Peppers has a good game, I am hopeful. If he has a bad game, I'd bet our season would be done for the year.

At any rate, I'll be watching and hoping the last game where we sorta embarrassed ourselves will have them motivated to do a better job.

We both will be cheering - loudly!! ;) As you might know, anyone from Wisconsin really hates Duh Bears - guess where I grew up. Even if Duh Bears were playing the Viqueens I would cheer for Minnesota.

A joke you probably would appreciate and may be lost to the rest of the forum: What separates a cheesehead from a sh1thead? The Wisconson state line.:lol::lol:

Not sure why rugby has never caught on in the States. I really enjoyed watching it when I lived in Ireland. Newt and I agree that they play one really rough game without benefit of helmets and tons of padding. Now cricket is a whole different thing. Don't have a clue as to what is going on. Only part I had of cricket was when Peter Davison played the 5th Doctor Who and his uniform happened to be that of a cricket player.

An explanation of the game of cricket for our American friends:

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.

Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes

in and the next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been

in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.

Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and

when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.

There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they

decide when the men who are in are out.

When both sides have been in and all the men are out, and both sides have

been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not

out, that is the end of the game!"

 That explains it Steve. It's like Abott and Costello's "Who's on first" bit. No one really knows who is in or out which explains why it takes multiple days to figure out how to get everyone out so they can get in their cars and out of the playing field. Right? :P

BTW: Sounds like a real good cure for "in"somnia.
