Metal halides....

Hi

 

Am thinking of turning my marine tank into something more....ie some soft corals and need to purchase some metal halides!! thing the is I'm not really sure of what size i would need and how much i would be expecting to pay? Have any of you any ideas of where would be the best place on-line to find the best deals? and what i would need for a tank of 45 gallons?

Really depends what type of coral you want to keep.

 

150's would be fine for soft but if you own a deep tank 2ft plus then you should be looking for 250's.

Cheers for the advice Mat.......but to be honest Ive not got the money to go on with this project so Ive decided to stick to my tank the way it is.......still looks good to me and my fish seem happy enough
