So why sell it - why not take it back for a straight swap?

Johnsons were being totally brilliant about any problems with the kayaks - even to the point of offering an upgrade to the Prowler 15 - you can't argue with that kind of after sales.

 

Don't forget, there is a 3 year warrenty on OK kayaks.

Do you think I could claim under the warranty for Yarak. I should have thought that with modern materials a yak should be able to withstand beiing hit by a 2 ton car at 60mph.

 

Back on thread. The new yaks I saw at Bournemouth canoes were all the new USA version. If in doubt buy new. They are a great yak, scuppers permitting.

Darnsarf, I don't think warrenty extends to total muppetry on the highway! However, you should be able to claim off your household insurance - most contents policies cover individual items up to £500. I should have a look.

Had to add mine to the contents insurance along with all associated fishing tackle.
