i have just got a fishfinder on ebay its in italy and the bloke wants 50 euros to post it

it weighs approx 2 kg,at this rate the postage will cost more than the fishfinder

do you think he is taking the peeee

didn't you agree postage before you bid? you should always do that with international auctions, well with any auction actually.

 

only yourself to blame if you're not happy with the shipping rates

 

just looked at the royal mail site, and on their international signed for service it'd cost about £18 max

the item number is 4606303240. He had on there that he would post to europe but nothing else. i asked him how much it would cost before i won the item but he only replied once i had won .

I'm afraid you don't have much choice. You could ask him to check the cost as it seems high, but to be honest shipping the same weight from Ireland would be 30 odd euro, near 50 with insurance.
