Thanks for that, but the only time I see feedback like that it turns out to be weed, On another note, some of you fish off HMS Hood, is this the same Hood that the bismark sunk ?????? and if so how far out it is ??

I always had the feeling that the hood was only found a year or two back. if you could let me know, terry

definatley a different Hood. The one you are thinking about is the other side of Ireland, bit far even for the intrepid duo.

The HMS Hood Zzippy and I fished over is another one not its namesake I think you are referring to (HMS Hood Website) which now lies in the Denmark Strait. Quite a paddle I think!

 

The HMS Hood we fished over was deliberately sunk during the 1st World War by the British to block the southern entrance of Portland Breakwater preventing enemy submarines from passing through. Its easy enough to locate just position yourself a few yards out from the southern entrance and drop an anchor.. if it gets stuck you know you're over it
