To Starvin' for taking the time to show me round your boat and kit today.

I went to pick up my yak andclothing but they didn't have the 2 piece dry suit or the PFD you showed me - so they're on order now.

Big up also to SOUTHWATER water sports for lending me a load of kit to get me on the water until my stuff arrives and the 12 1/2 % discount on everything I bought :)

I spent all day, well from 10am until about 4pm, paddling up and down the thames between Chertsey lock and Penton Hook wier.

I didn't bother with a rod first half, but then thought why not ?

I didn't catch anything, but GOD I had FUN :D

B&Q and a chandlery tomorrow then :)

Great Phooey.

When was the last time you had so much fun blanking!

Dont be in too great a rush to rig its sometimes worth doing a couple of trips before making those fateful decisions.

Glad you enjoyed.

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.

Not going mad - just need an anchor :)

No fish this time but, I did come back with 3 nice plugs, 2 decent spinners and 3 floats.

Oh the things landlocked anglers leave lying around

Hi Chris,

My pleasure, glad your sorted and you've got your first paddle under your belt, enjoy her naked for a while before you go mad accessorizing her, but the anchor trolley system is a good and wise place to start.

See you on the water.

David,

That clothing you got - I had to put it on order as they havent been given any by the suppliers yet ! No Palm PFD that had to be ordered too :(

Yes, I will be torn between kitting her out with an anchor and paddling some more :D
