Hi,i am just new to fly fishing, aiming for trout,so the fishing shop sold me a load of wet flies and i have forgotten what they are called,so i was wondering if anybody could suggest a good website for identifing the flies.

cheers

Plenty of good books on te market mate, As if you are anything like me youd forget by the time you get to the Water, and you can keep the book in your bag,

For the first few times get a local to cast an eye over what you have got and let them help guide you to your chioce of fly the name is only relivant when replacing dog eared old flys that have worked .

It is important to learn the names but give your self a chance, enjoy your fishing and in time skill and knowledge will come together on its own accord :)

Someone once said to me "Dont worry It could be worse." So I didn't, and It was!
