Wife has just called the new project kayak has just arrived.

We have chosen the Malibu 2 XL this year, well the kids are getting a bit big for my lap and it will be nice to let them paddle on their own whilst I get to do a bit of trolling or take a nap. :D

Oh colour...........Sunrise.

Congratulations Starvin. I look forward to seeing how you rig her.

Out of interest is there any way to test the scuppers on this kayak?

Not unwrapped her yet, but haven't heard of any problems and am quietly confident she will be OK.

As for rigging, I'm looking forward to seeing how I'm going to rig her, want to try new things on this one, it's going to be fun and probably tricky due to the 3 fishing positions.

Just read an article on how they are starting to be used in the States for sight fishing, paddled by the guide whilst the client stands to fish.
