couldn't resist the photo.

 

re. lee bay spuds, yeah it was 4ft on most other west facing beaches. lee bay is a small village with carparking for about 6 cars at the front. it doesnt get crowded and tricky to park until summer, when you have to park up the road a way.

 

i literally parked next to the slipway, kitted up and walked 20 yds to the incoming tide. Tiny bit of swell but only 6inches of white water.

 

cant wait for next outing - possibly saturday at Puts - forecast is sunny with 17mph E - so puts should be ok close to the cliffs.

 

gotta rig me an anchor!
