Dont know about the beaches, but there were a few boats out on Sunday (Felixstowe, sheltering from the wind!) so they were in shore. They seemed to be catching a few codling from what I could hear on the VHF, working on the boat at the moment, building new double bed! Hope the weather is good for Easter, give the bed a trial run

What time of day are you fishing, John? I hope to do a few hours during daylight, but may go back at night.

From Sunrise 6.30am ish till we get fed up 6pm/7pm.

Had a few very small fish yesterday - one codling, one dab and one bass!

 

It was bright sunshine, so I didn't expect too much, but hope to go back tonight (I was going to go back last night, but a couple of mates said they would be possibly up for a trip tonight).

 

I reckon the night tides will produce the bigger fish.

Not tried mine yet, but I think I could see one up at Landguard point. It's a bit windier today, mind you. I'm hopingto have another try tonight.

The trips on, we should be at Pakefield for 6.30 to 7am.

 

Fishing till we get fed up 6 to 7pm.

I managed two more miniature fish last night. A whiting and a pouting.

 

That's five fish, consecutively, all different species!
