hows it going all ??

 

went out for a few hours earlier with a mate at a rock mark near saunton.

not much to report apart from the doggys.

non stop action for 3 hours.ran out of cider just as it started raining.(there is a god)

i have fished that exact spot dd, with john storey last year, he caught a big mackerellfish & then lost it in the rock pools :(

 

didnt get the church at trentishoe :( but now working on west putford church till august :)

 

caravan is at bude for the duration, very big surf there last night, did a bit of spinning but think i will have to get to know the area. bait for breakfast this morning.

 

 

 

nice dogger, about 3 times the size of the ones the commercial boys were taking at illfracombe last year :angry: hope they read this post & then go and hang themselves in shame.

Fished Blue Water (Minehead) the other thursday the doggies were certainly in abundance with a fish every chuck, good sport but would have been nice to contact somthing else.

alright guys

 

dogfish will be around for a while now,but beggars cant be choosers and besides dogfish tastes fantastic in breadcrumbs. :yeah:

 

tried for mackerel but got bored they should be showing in numbers any day soon.

 

fishing woolacombe or putsborough beach tonight after bass and hopefully small eyes.theres cracking surf at the moment with offshore winds (no such thing as the east wind curse down here) so heres hopeing.will report anyway.

 

ziggy your only down the road.if you fancy a trip on the beaches or anywhere in my manor give us the nod.

 

phil what bait/rig were you using? should be a few ray showing up minehead way also.

Hi Dilly

 

Just good old Tesco mackerel on a pully rig. off the wall.

 

Tried worm earlier for flatties but only small whitting and I mean small

 

Am thinking of working Woolacombe and Croyde markets this year so need some advice on fishing down that way.

 

can you help, email me privatley if you prefer not to give away too much on line.

 

Only have one criteria though i must be able to get my van close to where i fish and be able to see it.
