Puts our dissapointment at no Tope into perspective to read in tonights paper that a 43 yr old lost his life in the estuary on Sunday ( Rubber dinghy)

I hope it wasn't a small red inflatable - those lads camping by the bridge were in one of those.....

ya if some one who is regular or a local find that the critters are in im sure i could shoot up there on a thursday come back on a sat morning

Aberdovey Simon , Father and 3 kids from shrewsbury. Kids rescued but father swept away and despite being picked up by lifeboat died in hospital.

Sad to hear that, what a tragedy

 

The lads camping at the launch left on Tuesday morning. They caught a big bass on the Mon night casting a lure from the launch point at HW ... it went the same way as all the others.

Very sad bit of news, the tidal run in Aberdovey is severe to say the least.

 

Thoughts are with the three kids who have lost their dad.
