I stumbled across this clip of her playing "Cripple Creek" on the banjo.

 

 

 

Back in the days when Billy Connolly used to do his "joke and a song" type stuff Cripple Creek was his signature tune, it was always the first tune he played at a gig. It got him into a whole heap of trouble when he opened a benefit concert for The Spastic's Society at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. He is not a bad banjo player is the Big Yin.

I don't practice enough, but I've been playing a bit more recently. I just wish I had a decent singing voice, you can get away with strumming a few chords if you're accompanying yourself.

 

Just watching a BBC4 documentary about Squeeze- talented gits!

 

Its not easy singing and playing your geeetar at the same time Steve. :punk:
