rocks are great ,they hang around in shoals and are pretty openminded to any baits ,the really big ones dont even mind if you put bait on at all and will happily eat your lead .rocks are by far the easiest quarry ;) at the warren :D for determind anglers groins are by far the easiest to catch and line up waiting for you to cast ;)

I wouldn't fancy a treble in my groin!

Had Nada, the guys fishing static baits where fairing no better either not even a few mackerel to cheer things up a bit.

looks like the commercial boys have ruined it again apparently another boat was seen working drift nets a few hundred yards offshore on Friday.

It's a pain Tony, difficult to know where to fish these days. They trawl along the beach at Dungeness as well.

I might go back to estuary fishing, at least they don't trawl it, but it's a long walk accross the marshes, and the species are more limited.

To the right of Dengemarsh is clear of trawlers because of the army firng range, but access is sometimes not possible.

Isle of Sheppey is clear of trawlers I think, because it's shallow inshore and very tidal, but the fishng is poor.

If you are a caravan club member like me, there is a top site between Hythe and Dymchurch, at Daleacres.

Follow the sign off the Dymchurch road for the Zoo, turn left at the first junction, and the site is half a mile on the left.

noooooo thats not where i go ,if i go its always to the same place!!! idid all my galavanting in 2001 ,if its full i dont go simple and far easier than getting used to a new bit of grass in a foreign location :o .

nice trip for us just keep going SE on fat roads untill you get to a cliff and your there or under water ,none of this getting maps out stuff :o

fished most of the coast over the years from sheppy to lands end i much prefer catching rocks in folkestone if i'm beach fishing and romney marsh is too close to new romney where a inlaw lives :o

being close means visiting and i dont visit <_< i dont even visit one 3 hundred yards from the site entrance if they want to visit fine otherwise i will drive straight past,i hate visiting and being visited it distracts me
