Current competition

There are times in life when choices just cannot be made, and the current competition is such an example.

In the final are three images, each of which would/could stand up against any competitiom.

All are top drawers images (not photographs BUT images) and selecting one over another is in my opinion unfair.

Withoubt doubt these are the three best images posted on AN.

For the first time I urge those responsible for competitons to look at these finalists and say - non of them are losers.

It's funny you should say that Jaybee because if you read my comments in the Comp thread I too thought that this Challenge had inspired the BEST photos of the entire history of the Comp, (there was only one pic I didn't think made the grade).

I actually did feel like I was being unfaithfull to the other two finalists when I finally decided which one to vote for.

I do confess to having a favourite though, 'Roman Arch' by Colin or Cliff (sorry, can't remember).

I hate getting up early, I didn't even realise there were two 6 o'clocks in one day!

Having never entered a photo' comp' before, and thinking I might give it a try on this one, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the quality of the entries I saw, (especially Julia's) that I thought "no way this time".

I will have a go in the future though, if I find the right topic and subject.

PS. I'm a bit miffed with you lot for being so good :2::2:;)

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John
