Spam and Luncheon meat

when cutting up a tin of luncheon meat the night before an outing, i must eat 1/3 of the stuff picking at it

Punched Luncheon meat left overnight in dark red food dye has been one of my killer baits over the summer. The carp and tench at my club lake love it.

 

used to eat Bacon Grill when I was a kid but then I found a product called bacon. Its much nicer!!! (or it was until they started pumping it full of water and crap).

Spam ina blender add Green Swimstim, ground bait,cubed spam coated in green swimstim,hook bait.Tench Lurv it. Spam fried on a Tea-cake fried egg yummmy

 

You must have a very understanding wife...... or be single....

 

The blender in my house is kept on a high shelf with a note saying "don't touch or else". I don't think my last experimental wonder bait went down that well with her, fish liked it though....

Newt is anything but single but that doesn't keep him from creating the cr*p he calls carp bait. His last round, in which he heavily used molasses, had me downright sick. I left the house and told him get rid of the smell or the dog and I were looking for a hotel (and he wasn't invited). My dog will eat anything that doesn't eat him first but refuses to touch Newt's concoctions for carp fishing.

Nice fresh,cold Spam sandwiches...lovely grub. Still like some with a salad now and again.

Have to admit I haven't eaten it cold since I was a little un, Den. I prefer it be fried and it really does taste good with a nice slab of extra sharp cheddar. Even Newt would eat it that way.

I have a friend who reckons that the only boilies that are successful for him are the ones his cat will eat, he rejects any the cat will not touch.

Its funny because my cat will not look at a boilie in any shape or form; quite likes Halibut pellets though (even if they make him sick).

Ferg - make sure you ask for dry-cured bacon. It's much more like bacon used to be and you don't get that horrible white scum in the pan that the "normal" stuff gives you.
