Timex Outdoor E-Compass Tide And Temperature

Found this little beauty whilst looking for something else, any thought lads, does anyone use a similar watch?

It looks like its would be accurate enough to be useful whilst out on the water.

Well, you would know the state of the tides, when planning your trip, and the wind direction, so that just leaves the time. It's just a gimmick, unless you were shipwrecked for a couple of weeks,

I have a Casio with tidal range on it, very useful with the limited spare time that I have, although set up correctly it's about an hour out for high water, not a bad thing as it gives me longer fishing time as I'm always an hour early

 

We had a watch similar to that shown at work, it had a digital compass, bloody marvelous, sadly the client was given it.

 

At the right price I think they are a great gizmo, plus they tell the time as well... genius, being Casio, the battery will last for ever.

yeah, found that site afterwards too although when I showed the missus all she would say was 'whats wrong with all your other watches?' I didnt try and explain.... I hav'nt that long to live
