Fished off Blea Brows with Vagabond a few times. Didn't cost a cent to fish and there are lots of free footpath around there as well. So don't think I would be in a rush to part with 70-90k.

areas in britain look great but are commercially poor ,in some areas theres no roads ,no electric and usually because the area is deemed "special" a tiny chance of getting planning permission to do anything.

If theres no roads the public cannot get there ,if theres no electric few modern travellers will go there (some will relish it) and unless its got a mansion already on it the chances of building one remote even for a B&B

Get those lovely pictures and change the location to below the M4 and look at the price

 

You may be naive and buy one of the bargains then turn up and find theres no access to it and you will have to buy access from a neighbour and a great number of neighbours will refuse or charge you highly then you need permission to build a road which may never come

 

Most of the land surrounding this village is commercially worthless except if you can get planning to extract sand ,if it has a lake the price jumps ,if you can find a commercial use for heather and gorse it may also rise but some "group" will cry and stop you as they love useless land

 

80 acres of prime agricultural land in the village has. Not been used for years ,its owned by an African chief ,its nice to know some foreign aid comes home!
