Hi all,

My view on Vitalin is always buy the Original comes in a yellow bag 2.5kg or 10kg.Mix the night before fishing with hot water to cover and allow to mash.

In the morning activate with a wooden spoon and add your additives required, CSL, Hemp, Corn, Sugar ,Treacle or whatever.

This should give you a good holding Constancy to either ball or mould around your in line feeder.

HTH.

Regards.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

I use vitalin original myself, what i do is put it in a blender and grind it right down to a crumb, then i add a bit of proper groundbait (frenzied hemp original), micro pelets and trout powder......then on the bank just add the water and corn etc, its first class.

Vitalin Original is a top (and very cheap) method mix and carp love it.

I always mix the night before half a bait tub of Vitalin (that's about the equivalent of half a packet of cornflakes!), a small tin of sweetcorn, a generous handful of carp pellets, a similarly generous amount of cooked hempseed, 4 big tablespoons of corn steep liquour.

Mix it well, let it soak in overnight and add a little water when on the bank the next day in order to get the right consistency around the feeder.

Fished with a halibut pellet as hookbait I've never failed to catch.

Good luck!

Vitalin Original...you can simply mix it on the bank! I use it a lot, and put some in soak as soon as I get to my swim. By the time I am ready to cast out, it is ready...either add more water, or more vitalin to get the consistency you require.

Im add about 30% hemp to my mix, and sometimes a red coloured groundbait.
