if i remember its a LB of fish for every mile covered on the race. Not sure its species specific though

That was spooky - could have sworn they were on here then!

 

But they are good together and some of the Rod Race programmes are amongst my favourites from the multitude shown on Discovery.

I was guilty of judging the first series before I'd seen it. I'm not a fan of "catch fish at any cost" and consider myself more of a "take time to smell the roses" type of angler so I didn't think I was going to enjoy it.

 

I couldn't have been more wrong. I found it quite addictive and you could see how much each fish meant to them. And I liked it at the end when they said they'd never had a tiff or argument despite 30 days of intense filming. A very enjoyable series.
