As they say its all down to timing.

 

See its been averaging 20mph since midday and is currently gusting 20-29mph at the Solent (MRSC). These are officially recorded figures.

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.

 

Southampton, Scupper Pro TW Angler: Yarak2.

Check out xcweather.co.uk they seem to get it more or less right. Hope in this case thay have it wrong. Wind not due to really drop untill midday Sunday. Suits me as I fancy a bit of flounder bashing in the Solent but not sure its what you wanted. :wallbash:

Thanks I use this service plus a few others. If it's a north westerly I could be sheltered from the cliffs down there. Don't plan fishing far from the cliffs tomorrow. It may of course be too choppy to paddle down there though. I plan to head back not long after lunchtime - I hope their prediction is right.

by the time I got my gear together and got to the launch site they were right :wallbash: I'll be away earlier tomorrow :wallbash::wallbash:
