In search of Big cod

hi glenn, no cod here the seas too warm, still around 22c according to the temps in the paper last week. seas temps are higher this year than ever apparently.

we make up for the lack of cod with baracuda though

I thought when I didn't see you there Chris there was something wrong. Still makes me laugh when I think of all those cod you caught next to big cod that Day - He was Telling Mick Ellis about it today.. How did you do today ?

 

Captain did you say you can catch cod at that mark ?. Saw a couple of Nudists one day at Kettleness too bloody cold for that caper round here though really. Usually the odd person Dogging in the car park too. You see it all when your out fishing on a night you know.

 

Wrt getting your fish in, if you time it right the waves do the job for you. I had a nine pounder 1 day down there and the wave through the fish behind me - It was my lucky day.

 

no good glenn i took my boy kyle with me so wanted somewhere easy, he showed me the way, 3 bites 1 codling 1 rockling and mised 1 , my rod never moved. had 5 seals wathing us at our first mark , shame because it looked spot on. ray madison won with 4 for 12lb somthing , kyle managed 3rd in the junors so the day wasent a complete waste he got £20

Same thing happened to me when I took my young lad. He had 3 fish and I never got a bite.
