Thanks for the nod, great articles

All I can say is that Dave must be a very interesting man to listen to. I bet he could keep you entertained for hours with his fishing adventures :sun:

I met Dave and Norma briefly in Drummore two years ago when they were touring in their camper van. Hope to meet up with them again one day over the Mull of Galloway. Fancy a go popping for bass with Snatcher one day Dave and Norma??? You are more than welcome :)

He is very modest about his achievements and he takes a bit of drawing to get him on a run but has a passion for angling and the watery world which is beyond belief. A trip like his last one is quite a feat, that yellow fever jab ain't to be sneezed at, took a chunk out of me in my thirties. At seventy you have to admire his fortitude.

And not to be forgotten is Norma, they say behind every great man is an even greater woman :D Norma turns a few bits and pieces into a feast in minutes, her angling skills are the envy of all the men she has fished with, and on top of that she is a book of knowledge when it comes to our feathered friends.

All in all a great team and very pleasant company.

Just the thing for a wet and windy winter's evening.

A brilliant account.

They say that Life's a journey and if you can do some fishing along the way, who cares how long the journey takes?

Thanks Dave

What a great read, don't stop after the first installment-it just keeps on going.

Thanks for the tip,

Jon.
