The Lads we know HD seem to come back down with hundreds.

Ive been digging tonight, Much bigger ebb. Not another person in site. All the geordies must be on the lash down the big market.

Do you catch fish on them? Im still in the process of figuring out just where and when to use them. I think I got each type of peeler figured, But I keep getting outfished when I use whites - Perhaps I was wrong to think of them as a miricle bait. My m8 big cod hammered me recently he was using tell pie(hermit) and iwas using lug tipped with a white.

I dont need that many whites HD 100 of your snakes would last me all season.

You need to be carefull HD, These geordies figure out who is local and arent beyond following you. They do it with the fishing marks down here. They hang about in groups often as many as 10 of them, and it is plainly obvious they havent a clue where they are. Then they follow you to a mark and fish next to you. Next time you turn up to fish that mark you find them and 10 friends already fishing it. If I sense im being followed I either fish in the wrong place or turn back to the car and go elsewhere.

Dont get me wrong, Im not against helping a fellow angler but this lot take the proverbial.

hi winter.....that was quick....

i used to fish a lot of boat matches and you usually needed 50 for a match along with lug mussel etc.

sometimes the fish wanted nothing else other times they weren't worth a sook, but you had to have them

brilliant bait from the boat for dabs, plaice and flounders, i wouldn't waste them on shore fishing for cod in the winter,

but as i have said before i don't even have the inclination or the shoulder power to bother to dig these days
