why not divide the price with any of your mates that might want to use the program as well, im sure a small fee for recovering there data would be in order.

I thought that myself but it's a single user programe so fixed to one machine.

Spose if I needed to I could just use my caddy for anyone elses H/D.

But the sortware wouldn't be tansferable.

You can use Stellar on any machine - I seem to think you can make a CD version from it.
