please help me but if you have sky and are subsribed to the sports package is skysports 1 muted, i have no sound and yet every other channel is fine.(mind you it aint to bad when bumbles is on!)

Try the scart socket at the back of sky box and t.v. If its loose can knock off sound.

all the other channels are fine on sky it is just skysport1

My Telewest box acts up on odd channels every three or four months or so. I find that just unplugging it for a second or two and then plugging it back in invariably solves the problem.

I was just about to suggest that you unplug the skybox for 12 seconds then plug it back in.

Is it a Sky+ box? Ive had loads of problems with it including muted sound...a total power down usually sorts it out.

its just as straightforward sky box tried fiddling with the scarts power off etc still no sound on s s 1,tried ringing sky but it is call centre city so tried an email instead,

wife came home from work went onto interactive menu and switched off audio description ,and voila everything ok.

my 15 month old baby likes to play with the control so possibly the answer lies there.
