paddled to the south entrance but it was impossible to get outside safely

 

so bouyed up just inside the entrance.After about an hour hooked into a doggie but it got off right at the side of the yak ,weather by this time had deteriorated slightly but fished on for another half hour then the rain started with that and the weather forecast from Portland Coastguard decided to head back to Castletown----it just wasn't to be I expect the Aussies had the same problem

last winter comp was a bit blowy if I remember(in fact how could I ever forget lugging the Caper up that mountain!)
