"Mummy, Mummy, Mummy, can I go play with Grandma". "No. You've dug her up three times this week already."

About six years ago my wife persuaded me to let her grandmother come live with us, she`d lived on her own since her husband died a couple of years before, feeling sorry for the old bird i agreed to the idea. Now i can`t wait till she moves to the great granny annexe in the sky :bones: DONT DO IT FOR YOUR OWN SAKE! :wallbash:

obviously your pc is out of eyesight of both the females

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I had my daughter living with me and my grandson, then her new partner turned up eighteen months later, then twelve months later a second grandson turned up.

Thankfully they have move out, we are left with an enormous building purpose built to house all over a three year period.

Dai my daughters partner was a fuzzy eater, did not like green veg or carrots and swede, hated fish, loved stodge and chips. I would say it can only work if it works in the kitchen, food is the key to it succeeding or failing. You can the room , the money but if it fails on the dining table forget it.

I was quite pleased to see the back of them in the end, now if want fish we have it, we love veg and they form the main portion of our diet, chips are no longer cooked, steak pies and all that crap have completely vanished, we do not buy biscuits, crisp or cakes. We are now eating a far higher quality of food and enjoying it.

Strangely all of our other bills have dropped, the washing machine is no longer going 24/7 along with the tumble dryer, the dishwasher is on stop and I wash the dishes once a day, another great saving. So our electric and water bills are now well down.

Extended families may function a lot better in remoter situations where all parties are more dependent on each other say running a small farm with a caravan business or fishing lakes but I still think two kitchens would be the key.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM
