FACT Website

Is this like some form of association Leon ?

Will NFSA now be claiming they represent another few thousand people ? or does it not work like that ?

FACT is an umbrella organisation consisting of many leading angling and fisheries representative bodies

The NFSA are members of FACT, not the other way around.

FACT represents all of the component bodies and their memberships.

The Marine Group of FACT is the NFSA Conservation Group.

see: http://www.factuk.co.uk/asp_pages/about.asp?id=2

Have a roam about the FACT website to learn more about FACT, it's constituent organisations, aims and objectives, and what it does etc.

They are at it again Leon

Better representation of Sea Anglers at all levels. (Now largely achieved)

NFSA (National federation of Sea Anglers), SACN (Sea Anglers Conservation Network), BASS (Bass Anglers Sportfish Society), NMC (National Mullet Club) and SOS (Save our Sharks).

In terms of influencing Government, this group is almost certainly the best connected, most influential set of Sea Anglers in England and is constantly seeking ways to benefit anglers.

Can a member of this organisation tell me what this quote means please ? Specifically the bit Now largely achieved ?

Probably best to ask them directly. You can't expect any organisation to go round and read every website related to their interests, just in case somebody has asked them a question. :)
