can anyone help.

i use a 128mb sd card in my camera, as i am just begining this photography, when my card is full, the card reader will not download onto computor, but if there is only 2/3 photos on the card it will download no problem.

any suggestions.

I'm not going to know the answer, but there should be a big difference between *2/3 pics* and *full* on a 128 mb card.

I can get about 75-80 pics on mine at the highest resolution.

How many can you get on before it won't download?

Have you tried downloading from the camera itself i.e. skipping the card reader ? It could be that or the card that is faulty in some way.

Hi Keegy ..

First of all .. What camera and what card ??

Did you do a full format of the card in your camera when it was new ?

When you say "My card is full" can you see all the pictures you have taken on the camera itself ??

If you can, then the problem is the download system you are using.

If you can't, then the problem may be with your camera.

More details please .... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hi Keegy ..

Sounds like a download problem.

Windows Camera/Scanner may not recognise some of the pics.

Does the camera have a cable to connect to your PC, and software to download the pics ?

Does your PC have a slot that you can put your SD card into ?

Instead of using Camera/Scanner, Choose "Open folder to view files", then copy the pic files into a folder on your PC.

Let us know how you get on ...

my guess, theres more data than the reader can transfer via usb, try updating to usb 2.0 and siconnecting all other usb devices
