A 'friend' who I have known for over 30 years (and taken all over the UK fishing) stood up in court and lied through his teeth.

 

Just a pity the sensible thinking of your club doesn't apply to all.

 

I recently asked Haughall College (who control the fishing on the Wear at Haughall) if we (the Chub Study Group) could use their water when the Group comes up to Durham in November; sorry, but we do not approve of coarse fishing was the reply. Fortunately other clubs were more helpful.

 

Sad really when Haughall is trying to promote itself as a 'community college'
