And they'd be as wrong as the forums that suggest all immigrants are poachers.

 

You can't plead ignorance... the closed season dates are on the back of the rod licence.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

i vaguelly remember before the close season was abolished on still waters, commercials were opening calling themselves any method trout fisheries, only rule was there had to be atleast one trout in the pond, perhaps we can fish the rivers as any method salmon fisheries????????????? :rolleyes:;)

you can but you will need a salmon licence & to follow some rules on game fishing. But if you are blatantly coarse fishing the club may have something to say about it. I've caught a few chub on the Ribble this week while sea trouting all ways do its an occupational hazard.
