I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

Just a quick aside. I bought some Berkley holders, cheap. I did a quick test to see if the scotty extension bar fitted & it seemed too. So got one, but it doesn't lock properly & the slightest pressure makes it rotate. Which makes it pretty useless. So will have to replace base part with scotty one.... :boat:

Great job Gilbo

I bought the same rod holder from Glasgow Angling Centre. I made some extention pieces out of 1 1/4" black push fit tubing that fit into the rocket style rod holders.

Cut about 18" of tubing and put a 1/4" slot 1" long in both sides of one end, this fits over the gimble pin inside the rocket launcher and stops it spining around. Gently heat the other end with an electric paint stripper and push in the base plate (this is tight and might require a bit of force) trim of base plate flange, file smooth, job done.

Hope this make sense, Anyone tell me how to post photos? :wallbash:

PS where is the spell check :cc_surrender: Bb

Do you take commissions?!

Use photobucket to store uploaded pics and just put the 'img' scripts into the message. go to photobucket and have a look and it should be self explanatory how to do it.

Wetter than an otter's pocket.
