Many of you would have read the reports over the last two seasons of Conger that myself and others have caught at the Hengistbury head area.A lot of the Welsh lads that I fish with quite regularly had shown eagerness to fish the mark for Conger which got me thinking why don't I arrange a meet to do just that.I have arranged accomodation for the Welsh lads and a few other old acqaintances for the 1st week in September and would like to invite everyone to fish with us on the 1st Sept.(Saturday).Obviously as we will be targetting Conger it will be an evening/night session but it wouldn't hurt to fish in the afternoon for some fresh bait.Pre-meet at the Black house opposite Mudeford Quay.5pm.Don't forget your navlight!

 

I'll be setting up a Bouy system at the mark

 

Should have demo yaks--more on that later :whistling:

 

If you can't make this day but have some time off anytime between the 1st and 7th September,come down and fish with some of the most experienced yakfishermen in the U.K. :thumbs:

Buggerbumski!!!!!!!!! on hols between 3rd and 8th so won't be able to make it :cry::cry::cry: Fancied that as well!! Hey Brittas, you will have to bag a few for me mate! :thumbs:

 

Nice one Richi :thumbs: Hope you get a monster!! Cant wait for the pics! I am only on "local" leave but the FPO has pretty much got it all arranged. Wanted to test my 20-30lb new rod too :cry:

 

Jeez summer (yeah right) is running out quickly and only been out a handful of times, gonna have to re-name my scupper "The Olympic Flame" .................. Coz it never goes out! :lol:

 

Good luck lads (gonna try and make it out on Coniston with Nifty who is up here at the mo!)

Yeah will do Martin :thumbs: Should be able to make it for a few of the days after work. The problem I have at the mo since the Landrover died, is getting there! The misses needs the car for work and as I only work over the road, she gets first dabs! She is off tomorrow and Wednesday so am being REALLY nice to her at the moment! :wub::black_eye: Great stuff for September :thumbs: keen to get out now as the kak summer has left me landlubbing for the last few months! On local leave 3rd to 8th Sept so will sneak out if you make it up :lol:

Just got off the phone with Stu, he is in Ulverston buying bait for this afternoon fishing at Coniston, jammy sod! Gonna join him tomorrow all being well to hopefully be shown how to catch pike!! Can't wait :clap2:
